This festival is upon us and I wanted to get you all the details you need to be successful on Wednesday.
Timpanogos High School Bus leaves PHS at 2:45pm and will return around 6:30pm.
Students may ride the bus or get a ride from a parent. Students that choose to ride the bus must have a signed permission slip. These were handed out last week and are still available in the choir room.
Each entry must have their own completed adjudication form printed on the correct color paper. I have blue and purple paper available in my classroom for you to use. You can access the forms at www.uhsaa.org/music along the right hand side of the page. These should be filled out electronically before printing.
Each entry must have a published copy of their music to give to the judge along with their adjudication form. This should be an original with all the copyright information at the bottom of the first page of music. It should be free of all rehearsal markings and the measures are to be numbered. If you have any questions about this rule, please double check with Mr. Wiser. If you are borrowing music from the school, you are responsible for taking it to the festival and returning it the next day.
Dress is formal for this event. You may write your concert report by observing a half hour worth of performances.
Rehearsal space is limited. Please come prepared and meet with your group/accompanist at least 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled time to ensure that you are on time and not in a rush.
3-5 parent chaperones are needed. Please send Mr. Wiser an email if you are available to help out.
